Succulent Crassula 'Jade'

The plant your grandmother probably has, for very good reason. Crassula ovata — the Jade Plant — grows thick, glossy, oval leaves on sturdy branching stems, slowly forming a miniature tree-like form over the years.

Bright light (some direct sun encourages a reddish blush on the leaf edges) and infrequent watering — let the soil dry out completely between drinks — keep it thriving for decades. Often called a "money plant" for good luck, it's an easy, long-lived classic perfect for beginners. Available in 3" and 4" pots.
