  • Pets: Pet-friendly — generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs.
  • Light: Bright indirect light.
  • Care level: Easy (1/3). A forgiving choice with the right light and a simple routine.

Non-toxic does not mean edible. Chewing any plant can upset a pet's stomach; keep plants and accessories out of reach. Care levels are Pink Llama's practical guidance, not a guarantee.

  • Botanical Name: Peperomia ferreyrae
  • Common Names: Green Bean, pincushion peperomia
  • Description: This succulent like epiphyte would not appear to be a peperomia due to its peapod-like leaves but requires the same easy care as most succulents and peperomias. Its green stems will grow in an upward fashion and would be a great and unique addition to any desk or shelf.
