Oyster Plant 'Moses in the Cradle'

Drama in deep purple. The Oyster Plant — Tradescantia spathacea, also called "Moses in the Cradle" — grows lance-shaped leaves in rich purple with a glossy sheen, growing in a rosette that lives up to its boat-shaped nickname.

It's a tough, easygoing plant: bright light (some direct sun deepens the purple), water when the top inch of soil dries, and it tolerates dry air and occasional neglect with ease. A bold color accent for sunny windowsills that doesn't ask for much in return. Available in 4" pots.
