Austral Gem Fern

A fern that broke all the fern rules. The Austral Gem (Asplenium dimorphum × difforme) grows thick, glossy, almost succulent-like fronds that hold their shape and shrug off the dry air that kills fussier ferns.

This Australian hybrid is the fern for people who've killed ferns: medium to bright indirect light, water when the top of the soil dries, and no misting required. Its dense, sculptural fronds look gorgeous on desks, bathroom shelves, and anywhere you want lushness without the maintenance. Available in 4" and 6" pots.
