Hi, I’m Melissa Gray, the heart behind Pink Llama Botanicals.

I’ve always known I wanted to be my own boss. After years of working irregular hours and feeling like work was constantly competing with family time, I knew I wanted something different—something that allowed balance, creativity, and purpose.

Plants have always been that constant for me. Even before I understood the names, care guides, or science behind them, I could somehow bring almost anything back to life. Call it luck, instinct, or an inherited green thumb—but nurturing plants has always come naturally to me.

Eventually, I decided to stop dreaming and start building. Pink Llama Botanicals was born from a simple idea: to share my journey, my growing knowledge, and my genuine love for plants with others. Whether you’re a seasoned plant parent or just starting out, my goal is to make plants feel approachable, joyful, and a little less intimidating.

When I’m not caring for plants, I’m married to a wonderful, supportive husband, raising our two children, and surrounded by a big, loud family—I’m one of nine siblings. Life is full, busy, and beautifully imperfect, much like plant care itself.
